Job Title: AI Solutions Engineer (Microsoft)
Location: Hybrid onsite in Irvine, CA
Employment Type: Contract (6+months)
Compensation: $75-85 per hour W2 only (based on experience)

Ready to build AI solutions that deliver real business impact? We're seeking an AI Solutions Engineer with strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience developing, deploying, and scaling AI-powered applications across enterprise Microsoft environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and deploy AI-driven applications, automations, and agent-based solutions
• Develop integrations using Azure, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Databricks, OpenAI, and related AI technologies
• Build APIs, workflows, and connections between AI agents, enterprise systems, and business data
• Implement RAG architectures, prompt engineering strategies, and AI-powered automation
• Leverage SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and enterprise data sources to create intelligent user experiences
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable, production-ready AI solutions

What We're Looking For

• 5-9 years of professional overall experience, including 2-4 years' experience in AI, automation, or low-code platforms
• Strong Python development skills with experience building real-world applications and services
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, and Databricks Genie
• Experience integrating AI models such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, or similar platforms through APIs and SDKs
• Experience working with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers for connecting AI agents to tools and data
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and enterprise system integrations; Strong understanding of API-based integrations and connecting enterprise systems

• Expertise in RAG, prompt engineering, and AI agent workflows
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Azure
